


Quote Acceptance and Payment terms
- All quotations are valid for 14 days and subject to stock availability.
- All quotations are subject to final measurements on-site and a site inspection. Errors and omissions apply.
- A deposit of 80% is required upon acceptance of the quotation before any manufacturing can commence.
- The final payment is due on the day of installation completion.
- By paying the deposit, the client accepts the terms and conditions of the sale agreement.
- Accepting any quotation confirms that the design and specifications were done according to the client’s requirements and specifications. Could you read and understand the quotation to make sure that you know what is being quoted? We are available to assist should you be unsure.
- Bank charges will be charged to the client’s account for all cash deposits. (R1.50 for each R100 – *Prices subject to change without notice)
- The client confirms that the plan and design were reviewed with the Maxiview FGS representative.
- Maxiview FGS is not responsible for any building alterations. We recommend that all building alterations be completed before we take final measurements.
- Maxiview FGS will not be held responsible for any purchase of new material should it be discovered that the area was altered after final measurements were taken.
- The client confirms that the finishes, styles, and other material are correctly specified on the quotation and that the different material has been explained.
- Anodised aluminium materials can differ slightly in colour shade and are received as such from the manufacturer. The client accepts that this is not a defect in the product.
- The client or representative of the client (builder) must ensure that all materials provided by Maxiview FGS are kept safe and secure until installation is complete. Any damages or replacement of material caused by any other contractor on site will be for the client’s account.
- Should any extra accessories be required after accepting the quotation which were not specified on the originally signed quotation, an additional quotation will be issued. The additional quotation will constitute a separate contract.
- Maxiview FGS cannot accept changes to the specification from what has been quoted once manufacturing has started. The accepted quotation will need to be paid in full, and an additional quotation will be issued. The additional quotation will constitute a separate contract.
- If the client rejects the quotation, travel expenses may include a call-out fee. Travel outside Gauteng is charged at R4.50 per km, plus a standard call-out fee of R850.00.
- Our quotes do not include certification for the installed product as a standard item Should any certification be required, a separate quote will be done for this if not explicitly asked for when the quotation is being prepared.
- The client agrees that all goods forming part of this sale agreement remain the property of Maxiview FGS until paid in full and agrees that Maxiview FGS may decide to remove any and all goods should the client decide not to pay the outstanding monies after installation is completed.
- The client indemnifies Maxiview FGS against any damage to the client’s property due to the unintentional act of a worker. (includes repairs to existing glass, own glass, own risk)
- Orders are custom-made; therefore, no cancellations are allowed after the point of raw materials being purchased by Maxiview FGS. If an order is cancelled, the full balance of the quotation will be payable by the client.
Lead Times and Installation
- The general lead time for the project is typically between 7 and 21 working days from the date of acceptance and receipt of deposit. Should a final measurement be done after the deposit was received, the lead time must be calculated using the date of final measurements taken.
- The installation date provided is an estimate only. While we will do everything possible to keep to the date provided, the installation date is dependent on the timely delivery and availability of material, both of which are not within our control.
- We will confirm the installation dates and times one day prior to the installation. We will strive to complete the installation as soon as possible without compromising on quality.
- The completion of the project is subject to stock availability, current workload, and the size of the project.
- The client is responsible for ensuring that the site is ready for installation on the agreed installation start date. (Electricity on site / Access to the building site or estate as arranged.
- If the site is not ready when the Installation Team arrives, a fee of R 550.00 will be charged, and the installation will be rescheduled according to the next available opening.
- The duration period of the installation cannot be determined until the installation commences.
- The client must ensure that the area where the installation is to be completed is cleared of all furniture, curtains/blinds, portraits, and any other valuables before installation can start.
- We will not be held responsible for any costs related to third-party contractors such as builders as a result of extended installation periods or a delay in installation start dates.
- The client will not have the right to impose penalties of any sort against us as a result of any delays that may occur.
- Please note that although we take special care to not break tiles or scratch walls/paint, we cannot guarantee this. Should this occur, we will not be able to repair/replace this.
